This 2-day course is a comprehensive, hands-ons programme where you’ll learn basic to advanced techniques of bike maintenance. Through lessons, demonstrations and a great deal of hands-on experience, you will complete a component-by-component study of bicycle. The information presented is applicable to the service and maintenance of all types of bicycles. Some of the topics covered include:
Bike terminology, taxonomy and anatomy
Troubleshooting typical problems and how to fix them
Servicing, removal and re-installation of headsets, bottom brackets and cranks
Servicing, removal and re-installation of mechanical brake systems, derailleurs, and more
