Bike School Asia was established in recognition of the lack of formal training opportunities for bicycle mechanics in Asia, and the need to raise the standards of mechanic services in tandem with the increase in complexity of bike technology.

Mission

To set the standard of excellence for bicycle mechanics across Asia. We will always strive to provide quality instruction that keeps pace with contemporary developments in the cycling industry. We will impart knowledge without restriction. We will partner with people who share and are committed to our vision of Empowering Asia’s Cyclists and Mechanics.

Mel & Mao

Mel is a certified PMBI Level 1 coach and has been an avid cyclist for the last 30 years. Well-versed in both mountain biking and road riding, he loves engaging in meaningful discussions about all things bicycling… and life, if you are are into that sort of thing.

Mao is a certified PT and Yoga teacher as well as an enthusiastic cyclist, except when it’s too early in the morning.

Failing that, you will still leave with a bike fit that’s optimal for you. As a bonus, they’re happy to share tips on body conditioning to strengthen your way to a more joyful ride — i.e. ride faster than your friends, which is pretty close to inner peace.
