A Bike Fit session starts from SGD380. All sessions include a pre-fit consultation, full physical assessment, fit adjustments, and post-fit recommendations. If your fit requires additional components — such as saddles, wedges, insoles, or bar modifications — we’ll always explain why, and only suggest what’s necessary to improve your fit. These are optional and charged separately. If you’re not sure who to book with, drop us a message and we’ll recommend the best fitter for your needs and goals.
Don’t let pain stop you from enjoying the ride!
On average, 85% of cyclists experience some form of knee, back, neck/shoulder, numbness/tingling, and/or saddle pain when riding. Despite this fact, most assume it’s just part of cycling and suffer through it, hoping their symptoms will just go away. Cycling can and should be pain-free. We’ve been helping cyclists of all disciplines ride with more comfort, power and pleasure since 2013. It begins with a professional bike fitting.
Evolution, Not Revolution
Test, Don’t Guess
All Bodies, Any Bike
Why do your fitting with us?
Truth be told, the bicycle is a simple machine, and anyone with a ruler and goniometer can offer a “bike fit”. And in many bike shops, that’s exactly what happens: fittings are performed by undertrained retail staff with limited clinical or anatomical training, often incentivized to push new components or upgrades rather than solve the cyclist’s problem.
The body is a complex, adaptive system, affected by injury history, mobility, symmetry, strength, and riding goals. That’s why a true fit requires more than tools or templates. It requires an understanding of biomechanics, exercise science, and human movement.
At Bike School Asia, we are a teaching practice. That means we stay current in both physiological and mechanical domains, blending foundational knowledge with real-world experience to deliver evidence-informed, rider-specific outcomes.
We use advanced tools like:
✅ Shimano’s Dynamic Pedaling Analysis for live pedaling insights
✅ gebioMized pressure mapping to optimize saddle comfort and contact points
But tools don’t make the decisions — fitters do. And our fitters are trained to think, not just measure.

General Consultation with Coach K
-
Need input on a specific issue? This session is conversational and focused on your concerns, without going through the full bike fitting process.
These focused sessions (saddle or cleat analysis, second-bike setups, and general consultations) are streamlined services. They do not include the full-body mobility assessments or comprehensive pre-fit screening that come with our complete bike fitting sessions.
- Submit a Booking Request
Once you select your preferred service and submit a booking request, one of our team members will get in touch to confirm available dates, or help you find one that works for you. - Confirm Your Appointment
Once a date and time are agreed upon, your session will be officially booked. - Complete the Intake Form
We’ll send you a short intake form to understand your goals, history, and concerns before the session. This helps us tailor the fit to your specific needs. - Show Up and Ride Better
Arrive with your bike and gear on the scheduled day. We’ll take it from there!
- A typical session lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. Please plan your day accordingly.
- A BSA bike fit session begins with discussion of your goal and what you hope to achieve in the session — increased comfort, injury prevention or performance gains. We spend time getting this clear so that everything else is done with it in mind.
- Time permitting/if needed, musculoskeletal evaluation as it pertains to cycling to help identify impairments that may be limiting your cycling ability.
- On-bike movement evaluation, where we will assess the ergonomics of your current fit and how it relates to your body and pain that you may be experiencing associated with cycling; and your postural and pedalling techniques in the sagittal, frontal and transverse planes of movement.
- Initial findings are then discussed with you before the session evolves into what it needs to be to achieve the goal.
- Adjustments will likely be made to your: cleats, saddle, handlebars, stem, and possibly suspension to ensure that you are optimally positioned to meet your goals, reduce discomfort, and reduce the risk if an overuse injury.
- A pathway to evolve your riding position towards the goal will be suggested. This may involve adaptation, a plan of treatment and/or rehabilitation with a specialist. Bike fitting is a process, not an instant fix.
- We may also recommend specific products (e.g., saddles, insoles, wedges) only if they directly improve your fit. You’re never obligated to buy anything.
- While the session is not strenuous, expect a workout.
- If you’ve had a previous bike fit or any relevant medical reports (e.g. physio assessments), feel free to bring them.
- A clean bicycle in good working order.
- Proper air pressure in tires.
- Cycling bib/shorts — Please bring at least one clean pair (two if possible), especially if you experience saddle discomfort. More options help us assess pressure more accurately.
- For female cyclists, a crop top is recommended to enable optimal bio-marker placement.
- Cycling shoes — Please clean debris out of cleats and screw head. If you are changing shoes/cleats, please bring your old pair of shoes.
- Cycling gloves you wear while riding.
- If you cycle commute with a backpack, please bring it with you.
- Any additional saddles or stems you may own that you may wish to have installed.
- Any orthotics, insoles, or previous fit accessories (wedges, shims) you’re currently using.
- Towel to wipe off/clean up.
- Water bottle.
- You may need a few rides to adapt to your new position. This is normal.
- We encourage follow-up questions. If anything feels off, let us know.
- Need a second bike adjusted? We offer discounted follow-up fits for returning clients.
- Consider booking a check-in if your riding style, goals, or body changes significantly.
